Park City Peaks Hotel is highly praised for its extensive wellness amenities, exceptional customer service, and convenient ski shuttle, particularly appealing to budget-conscious travelers. However, recent guests have reported significant operational disruptions due to ongoing renovations, specifically the closure of key facilities like the pool and gym.
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. We booked months in advance through Booking com. The booking did not have a free cancellation policy. When we arrived, the hotel was undergoing renovations, which we knew about. However, the pool and gym were also closed. I didn't know that, and we had just finished a 10-day road trip and wanted to relax and do some sport units. We spoke to the hotel manager at the desk, and he was completely understanding and canceled our booking on Booking com, including refunding us. Great, and thank you so much! We'll definitely be back in the USA sometime, and I would book this hotel again.
From theirwebsite - "We will make sure that each guest experiences the warmest do-anything-we can-to-make-your-stay-amazing service" - Well did not experience any of that. The reception we had was cool to say the least It was the least welcoming introduction we've had in 15 days of being in the US in various establishments. Had to ask what time breakfast was, where was breakfast room, where was the elevator 🤷♀️. The room was OK except neither socket where the single bedside light was plugged in worked. We had to move the lamp to the other side which involved trailing the wire across the room. Breakfast was the least palatable we've had - no yogurt, eggs tasteless. We assume full rate was not charge due to the construction work but paying more would certainly expect much better!
We just returned from an unexpected stay at the Peaks Hotel. After our original accommodation canceled on us last minute, we lucked into one of the last available rooms there. Everything was so far beyond our expectations! From the morning breakfast to the amazing sauna, steam room, multiple hot tubs and indoor outdoor pool, parking, cookies at 4PM, was just above and beyond. All the staff was amazing but the standout was Art who took amazing care of us under the extenuating circumstances. We are super grateful to him and his amazing personality and customer service. What could’ve been a nightmare situation ended up probably being better than where we would’ve been, we can’t wait to come back!
Park City Peaks Hotel offers a solid ski vacation experience with some notable highlights. The modern accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained, with the daily housekeeping service being a particular standout—returning to a freshly made room with clean towels after a long day on the slopes was genuinely appreciated. The hotel's shuttle service provides convenient access to Park City base, though be aware you'll need to catch the town shuttle if you're heading to Canyons. The indoor and outdoor hot tubs were absolute perfection for soothing tired muscles after skiing, and the great fitness center is an excellent amenity for those wanting to maintain their workout routine while traveling. Breakfast was the main weak point: crowded and somewhat disorganized. The communal yogurt bowl seemed particularly ill-conceived from a hygiene perspective; individual servings would be a simple improvement. Overall, a comfortable stay with good amenities and location that just needs some breakfast service refinements to be truly excellent.
This hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re planning to ski at Park City Mountain. They offer a convenient shuttle service running until 4:45 PM, which helps save on parking costs. The driver was very friendly and helpful with tips. The room was clean, comfortable, and ideal for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and check-in was quick and seamless. No complaints, great, budget-friendly option! They also have ski gear rentals available right inside the hotel.
This was our second year staying at Park City Peaks in December. Once again, it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we checked in, the exceptional customer service stood out. The staff was not only welcoming and friendly but also went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel right at home. The amenities are truly impressive, especially for the price. The steam room, hot tub, and sauna were highlights of our stay—spotlessly clean, relaxing, and well-maintained. After a long day, these facilities were the perfect way to unwind. You can tell the hotel takes pride in keeping everything organized and pristine. The entire property reflects a standard of cleanliness and order that’s hard to find even in higher-priced establishments. Whether you’re in your room, the lobby, or the wellness areas, everything is thoughtfully arranged and impeccably clean. The shuttle service to Park City Mountain is top tier. It made our days stress free and comfortable. For the value, it’s honestly a steal. You get the comfort, luxury, and service of a much more expensive hotel at a fraction of the cost. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or even just a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to return!
Great place to stay for an affordable price. The amenities were great and it was nice to have ski rentals and shuttle right there. Staff was great! Especially in the rental shop! The only reason I gave 4 stars on room is because it was nice but maybe a little dated.
Nice rooms with great amenities! We come here twice a year during the ski season. We love the free breakfast (was better last year though), shuttle to the ski resort, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and pool after our day on the slopes. Versante (the onsite bar and restaurant) has some great dishes, too.
I had a great stay here! Staff was friendly and accommodating and I really appreciated the transportation offered. Hotel was only a few miles from Main Street and resorts. All of the staff truly cared about giving the guests nice experience. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hot tub was relaxing with beautiful Mountain views and the hot chocolate and cookies offered were such a nice touch. Definitely will meet the needs of anyone looking for a stay in lovely Park City!
Loved our stay, everyone was very helpful, room was clean and spacious. Location was great for what we wanted. Like others said ice machines didn’t work but didn’t ruin our experience at all. We’d stay again and next time bring our kids.
