Stop your search, this place has it all! With 350 floating battery powered candles hanging from the rafters and motion sensor Moaning Myrtles in 13 bathrooms, this lodge became our magical Hogwarts Castle! The huge dining room became our Great Hall with the ancient sorting hat perched upon a stool and with grand feasts that we prepared in the enormous kitchen, well stocked with appliances and a pantry and storage room nearby, and also became our Hogwarts school of potions and spells! The Grand Hall upstairs became our game room with multiple tables surrounded with excited chatter, an auditorium filled with laughter watching the hilarious Harry Potter home videos, and a sanctuary under the stars at night viewed through the massive surrounding windows as we sang together with guitars making memories. The decks provided an outdoor meal with picnic tables, a place for our Chess Tournament, and a scenic place for our group photo. We enjoyed Quidditch on the lawn, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, swinging on the tire over the enormous view below, and playing basketball, volleyball, Frisby, badminton, ping pong, pool, arcades, and air hockey. Our grandchildren built a Lincoln Log tower clear to the ceiling! With our energetic family that filled this “castle” to capacity, lovely quiet areas were available to read and ponder. The Crow’s Nest on the tippy top lent an exhilarating view. If possible, we’d give it 10 stars! We’ve never seen a place like this!

Timber Moose Lodge was a really cool, very large, mountain cabin that was really fun to be at a few winter’s ago. It is so unique and engaging for a family reunion, if you want to spend time with your family. It is high in the mountains so make sure that you have 4-wheel drive for access through any snow, during the winter months. This was a really fun place that brought a lot of good memories to our family. We really enjoyed this place! Thanks!

Beautiful place, but HOT in the summer. The rooms are not adequately ventilated, some with holes in screens or missing them altogether. Two bedrooms claim AC, but neither work. Everything else is as claimed, but the heat is a problem.

This was the second time my family has been lucky enough to stay at Timber Moose Lodge and it was again incredible. From the indoor swimming pool to the multiple game tables, Lincoln Log room, expansive decks and views, rope swing, large TV and sitting areas, books to read, bouncy house and many more features, we were bound to have fun. This cabin is set in such beautiful surroundings and is so massive that it fits large groups easily and gives everyone space and privacy. We were there with several families and never felt like we were in the way of one another. Each room is well thought out and our beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance and cooking tool needed to cook for huge crowds. There are also ample tables to eat at as well as huge counter spaces to prepare food. We loved the indoor fire pit feature and the ambiance it gave. There were so many places to go to relax. Last time we came for a huge family reunion and we were able to hire a photographer to come and take amazing photos with the perfect natural backdrops. There are endless possibilities for entertaining with this cabin. Every person who entered was blown away by all it has to offer. The owners truly have thought of so many details to make this a great experience and seemed so willing to help us in any way so that we could have the best vacation. We will continue to cherish our time here. What a blast!
