Guests consistently praise the stunning ALPS-inspired architecture, convenient location directly next to Deer Valley's slopes, and high-quality amenities like hot tubs and impeccable breakfast. However, some recent complaints suggest issues with hidden resort fees and climate control temperatures.
Am all for appreciation for this property. It is located right next to the skiing slopes and hill top and we got an excellent and gorgeous room . We stayed for 3 nights and miss the whole experience. It was November and no excessive snow or bad weather . The skiing season was yet to begin and hence not much crowded . They have perfect breakfast and we loved it totally .
We stayed at the Chateaux for Thanksgiving with our family and had an unforgettable experience. The fully stocked kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving dinner (minus the food of course). The rooms were perfect, staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable, linens were high quality, rooms were quiet, and the atmosphere was breathtaking. We enjoyed the complementary smores kits over the outdoor fire ring. Sitting in the hot tubs looking at all of the snow & light covered trees felt magical. The fitness facility was another plus. We appreciated the covered parking. Access to the ski hill is a very short walk. I've skied and mountain biked at Deer Valley previously. Both were amazing. I tell my kids it's better than Disneyland.
The BEST place I’ve ever stayed at! The rooms were beautiful, the staff were amazing and extremely helpful, and the views were breathtaking. Our favorite thing was to go to the hot pools after dark and look at all the Christmas lights. The hot pools being right outside our rooms was also very convenient. Overall, an amazing trip that I would recommend to anyone!!
**Pros:** - The location is excellent, conveniently situated near hiking and biking trails, as well as Main Street. - The hotel features a shuttle that takes you anywhere until 11 pm - The breakfast buffet is notably impressive, ranking among the best I've experienced at a hotel. **Cons:** - The quality of the Murphy bed was disappointing, causing discomfort throughout the stay. - There were so many hidden charges … resort fees, parking etc - The climate control system in the room was ineffective, leaving the space uncomfortably warm despite attempts to adjust the thermostat. We often had to open the balcony door at night to cool down the room. Given the price point, we had anticipated a higher level of quality. For the same price, we can enjoy other resorts nearby, which are much newer,
We had our room upgraded by our group due to our engagement, and we had an absolutely beautiful and cozy suite. The beds were some of the comfiest I’ve slept in in a while. I thought the property was beautifully maintained, and I found the staff friendly and helpful at every turn. The dining options on property were also excellent.
