Situated steps from the slopes, this ski-in/ski-out resort offers an unbeatable location and warm hospitality, though guests frequently lament poor housekeeping and dated facilities relative to premium prices.
Very spacious, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Layout of the hotel is a bit odd and was hard to navigate from the parking garage to our room. Directions given were not very helpful. I feel it would benefit the hotel to update and add more signs to help guests navigate their way around. Just my opinion. One area of our room was HOT yet the AC was blowing the whole time. It was very odd. But we were only there 1 night, so not that big of a deal. All in all nice hotel, and would probably srsy there again.
I love the Grand Summit, as I'm an owner here. It's right on the ski slope with beautiful views of the mountain, through all for seasons. Rooms are clean and updated, with a rustic mountain decor style. Spacious, too. My one bedroom condo can sleep 6 and had a full kitchen. Condos beds and bedding. Great, quality pillows. Staff at the front desk and valet are great. Underground parking, with extra parking at the Cabriolet. The pool is heated and super nice. The steam room is a great recent addition. There are three spacious hot tubs. It's very nice and my only regret is that I didn't buy sooner. And I LOVE the water machine where you can fill a bottle with water, with the choice of flat or sparking water.
Wish I had a better review…we had a 1 bedroom suite. The elevators on our half of the hotel were out so we had to take the stairs everywhere with our ski boots on and managing luggage and one day because they had a staffing issue the front desk was not answering the phones from people making calls from their rooms or from their cell phones. Upon our arrival. Rooms were lacking, sufficient towels, coffee filters, and coffee packs for the pot. Valet shuttle service friendly & efficient. Ski check—loved it.The location of the hotel is wonderful, and if all of the services were functioning as a guest would expect, it would have been fastastic. We only had our room serviced by housekeeping one day, now they charge an additional fee of $45 to have it cleaned every day and that’s just unacceptable as much as we invested in this stay to not have service every day. We enjoyed the hot tubs.
Great location right next to the orange bubble lift and super convenient. I didn't actually stay here but my friend's family did and it looked really nice and we were able to use the restrooms. I would definitely consider staying here because it's so convenient, and steps from the lift.
A great hotel at a great location. It doesn’t have a ski concierge, just a ski storage. But it does have ski in /ski out. The free gondolas to the parking lot and 7-eleven are literally right next to the hotel. The staff is wonderful, especially the bell hops and outdoor staff. The restaurants have great food with a varied menu. The bartenders were extremely friendly and took great care of us.
The front desk is horrible. One person ran the desk. They’re not friendly, but not helpful. It was. They were just overwhelmed at the front desk. The rooms were dirty. They don’t have every day housekeeping. The shuttle guys drivers were fantastic. But I would recommend another property. It just wasn’t very clean and the rooms were a little dingy.
Paid over $1000/night for very standard room similar to what you would expect from an old Red Roof Inn. Tub shower with cloth shower curtain. Old bathroom with one bowl sink. No daily housekeeping! Skiing conditions were awful (not their fault) but offered absolutely nothing to make up for it. Overall dark and dreary. Great location if the skiing is good but that’s about it. Look elsewhere.
The Grand summit hotel is an amazing ski in ski out resort our trip was amazing! Great onsite amenities and is very close to the Red Pine and Orange Bubble. New Years 2026 family ski trip was a blast!
Loved the spa. The rooms were spacious and clean. Valet staff was excellent.
We paid $1458 for 1 night. The only reason I booked 1 night is because I booked the Grand Hyatt in Deer Valley for 3 nights instead of 4 by accident and they were already booked when I wanted to add another night. We had the most amazing experience at Grand Hyatt at Deer Valley and then came to this hotel and it was the complete opposite. Everything was dirty - carpets everywhere, the room, the bathroom. It was gross. The room we were in was quickly infused with smoke from another smoker in a nearby room which was unbearable to stay in. We had to move to another room. In the new room - the safe was broken and we couldn’t use it. And couldn't sleep all night because it faced the hill with the snow removal and snow making all night long. When going to dinner that night while waiting for our uber - I asked the front desk for water - this was around 6:30 pm. She pointed me to the gift shop to buy one - but they close at 5 pm. You don't have any water bottles for guests up front? The staff member checking us out the following morning looked like she rolled out of bed - it adds to the disappointment that you think for this amount of money per night they don't have any criteria on staff appearance. Bottom line - you can't charge prices like a 4-5 star hotel when you are operating as a 2-3 star experience. And Andrew- the manager didn’t even email me back regarding all this. . . Just awful.
